Ward Family Eco Tour September 11, 2009

I took the Ward family from England on an eco tour on Friday the 11th of September. The skies were slightly overcast from a cold front the night before. With rain on the horizon and in the Gulf of Mexico, we ventured further down the intercoastal towards Rookery Bay to see what was happening. There are many birds starting to accumulate this time of year and herons and egrets were abundant. The beach on Keewayden was empty and the Ward family scoured for shells and other hidden treasurers. We fished a little on the way back to port, but the rain chased us down and we made it back to dry land unscathed.
