Stone crab prep work; opens Oct. 15th
These pictures are from the crab trap lot in Golden Gate. My cousin Bart has around 2200 traps that need repair and refurbishing before being splashed. Wayne Ethier and myself work and stack the traps before loading the trailer and heading to Kelleys Fish House and the 30' Morgan commercial vessel.

Joan Morgan and Crew
I had the pleasure of taking a family from Ireland and their friends on Wednesday the 18Th of August. The morning was fairly cool with a light breeze on shore and the herons and egrets were feeding on the shoreline like it was going out of style. John Valerie,Joan,Martin,Lauryn, and Megan were anxious to see stuff and the wildlife was more than willing to cooperate. The dolphin are everywhere and they act like spring is in the air, pink bellies and all. The manatee have been around for a while the water is warm and you can find them in the back bays with the slow moving water and little boat traffic. It was a swimming day and the lazy river at Little Marco was the perfect flow. Everyone got a little sun and munched on some food and I think it turned out to be a pretty special day. Capt. Zeke

Tuesday the 6th of April
I had the pleasure of taking a family which included Margret Prutting, friend Mark, Amy and Scotty. The water was crystal clear and the pompano were taking shrimp right out in front of you. The right temperature, with a fun bunch, and everyone agreed it was a perfect day.

Cynthia and family from the east coast of Florida
The osprey are feeding their chicks and the food is plentiful. Spring has sprung and everything seems to be in harmony. Baby dolphin were the spectacle of the day and were as playful as I have ever seen them. The egrets and little blue herons were spotting the shore line of almost every mangrove island. the wind was strong and the trip stayed close to Gordons Pass. The critters are active its easy to stay occupied with natures endless wonders.
